Make money blogging 101
By liswilliams
In my last hub I wrote about 10 blogs that get web traffic. I would say it goes hand in hand with your earning potential and how to make money blogging because the more traffic you have it seems likely the more money you will be receiving. Some people, however prefer not to monetize their blog. There are various reasons for this. Maybe it’s not all about the money. Readership often falls after google adsense is added to your blog. Sometimes people intend their blog only to be read by family and friends so that they can keep up with them.
Many people think a successful blog depends solely on the fact on the amount of time you have been blogging for, which is true to a certain degree. Someone who has had a blog for four years compared to someone with a blog for 6 months is definitely not going to be earning as much.
But there are blogs that have made a million after four years, some have made enough making a living from their blog, while others have felt frustrated. Some say it is luck. I would say it is a lot of hard work. I’m sure those very successful bloggers would not disagree.
The successful bloggers have learned how to make money blogging takes a lot of effort, posting sometimes more than once a day with a lot of promotion and the usual seo research just like writing an article or hub.
Blogging is not an easy game. There isn’t a community giving you a pep talk every time you want to give up. You will have to be self- motivated and find all the advice yourself. These bloggers will tell you that anyone can learn how to make money with blogging, but most people will give up because of the fact that their hundreds of dollars are not coming overnight. This is a business of patience and hard work..at least for the first year!

Thank you so much. It really did the trick. So easy, I can't believe it..:-) Is it possible to use different banners on different pages with this method? - Ray J.
This is an incredible resource. I'm going to have plenty to do while going through this list! Thanks :)
sooner you start the better :)
I agree the only way to be successful with blogs is to really just stick to it (easier said than done). It's hard to obtain any sort of decent ranking in the first year or so, but it is possible to improve traffic through means such as social media. Those were really interesting stats on what the top 10 blogs earn - time to go and see what makes them tick! Demetry :)

Great hub, even though it can take some time to start earning good money with adsense, the skills that you develop as you go through the process will help you earn a great income with any kind on online marketing...
Great list. I think pro blogger is a really useful blog for motivating and tips to make more money online.
This hub has really carried out lots of valuable information which I like it .
These are great. Of course, some of it is just luck. There are probably equally great blogs on similar subjects that never took off.
Thanks for sharing. I just checked out the John Chow and Steve Pavlina websites....great additions to my bookmarks. Great Hub...voted awesome
I started a personal finance blog a few years ago and relate with a lot of what you've said (http://www.treesfullofmoney.com). Very inspiring article on getting started making money blogging. There are so many mistakes beginners (and experienced bloggers) make and they often burn themselves out after a supposed "homerun article" doesn't result in the success they had hoped for! There is certainly a lot of competition these days when it comes to blogging so I wouldn't get your hopes up too much for overnight success, but if you're passionate about a particular topic and stick with it, readers will come!
Find niche autoblogs here and make money blogging!
@your site plus, just throwing this comment out there because I'd like to show people this is not the way to go. You can't make a passive income when you are new to blogging. It take hard work and dedication. Once you have put that in you can live the 4-hour work week, but nothing in life is automated, sorry, my friend.
Auto-blogs have got totally smashed by the Google Panda update and many have been deindexed or in the process of. So you are right liswilliams, taking action and perseverance is key to blogging success.
that's right, ecosimon. Good point! You see a ton of those on flippa. Stay away people!
Great info! Thanks.
