Perhaps these are some of the questions to ask when decorating with color because color is not simply something that looks good on your wall.
Decorating with colors will draw out the whole atmosphere of a room. It will bring out your mood.On a bad day a black kitchen will not do a lot for you.

These days it is just a case of anything goes. One thing to bear in mind is that once the paint is on it's not that easy to get it off, but you shouldn't be scared of painting something unusual either. If you don't feel comfortable wearing certain colors together in your closet then you are certainly not going to feel at ease everyday in a room with those specific colors.
Some say primary colors should be limited to two colors at the most in smaller spaces. Here, decorating with the color wheel will help you out.

Interior decorating with color is becoming more popular. When it comes to fabrics the choices you have are unlimited. You have to decide what you enjoy and what the actual trend is because if you follow trends you will end up spending a lot more money, changing color schemes every once in a while.
White will always be a popular tone because it goes with everything and it can be diversified. You can either go the contemporary route or stick with class. Grey is the color of the moment and with that you will add a couple of bright tones, such as turquoise, lime or deep reds.
Decorating with color ideas
- Everyone loves a good cushion. Go big and be different. Bean bags and other floor cushions in your unique color will also give you lots of comfort.
- Use a neutral background with colorful accessories. For example a white couch with different colored cushions will look good when you are decorating with color.
- Use different textures with colors creatively
- Decorative lamps and light fittings will create color in different ways.

Useful hub and thanks for sharing this. I recently painted a room in the house and when I went to the local store to choose some paint, I was just unprepared to be overwhelmed by the variety of paints on offer! Fortunately I did go prepared with some idea of what colour I was looking for.
