their kids to find work. It will not only bring in extra money, but will bring
them some extra confidence. At this point most teenagers don’t know where they
are going and what they are going to do after school. This will also look good on a resume when applying for college or university.
Being a teenager has its advantages. Companies are able to hire you legally, depending on the state and the country you are living in. The average age will be 16. Having your driving license at the age of 16 in some countries is another major advantage and other countries at the age of 18. You won’t have to rely on lift from parents and friends and you can take on jobs like delivery and various shifts.
Popular work can include working in a department store. If you have a particular interest and knowledge in fashion or sports it might be a good idea to go for that sector and this would also look good on your resume at the end of the day.
Of course there are so many fast food chains around looking for teenagers to help out. You can help bus tables at restaurants. If you have a car and a driver’s licence you can help with delivery of pizzas, which is also big.
When you have thought about where you would like to go and work make sure you phone before for an appointment and don’t just show up unexpected. When you arrive for the interview dress appropriately, be confident and have something prepared as to why you would like to work at that particular place. Do some research beforehand about the place you intend working at.
There are numerous internet related opportunities available to the teenager and many have been very successful earning money online with blogs and articles. A word of caution is to be aware of scams. Don’t open links in your e-mail. Be cautious.
Get Paid to Take Surveys
The average survey takes 10-30 minutes to complete and you will can be paid between $1 and 10 per survey. There are also focus groups you can take part in, but they will take up to an hour and sometimes longer. The bonus is you can be paid up to $50.
Get Paid to Read emails
This is another way to earn extra cash and something that won’t take you long. It has worked well for some people. You will just need to read a couple of emails everyday and you could also refer your friends to the program to make extra cash
Start a Blog or website
A blog is a good thing to start when you are young and there are many websites and blogs to help you get to you going. A blog takes time to make money and there are also plenty of things involved that will make money. Some people have been working on their blogs for more than 5 years and only see the money roll in then so don’t give up!

Lis, our country is still developing and we have a lot of kids unemployed, due to afirmative action.
The innovation amongst these kids are sometimes amazing. Interesting ideas you have above. Can you add links to these sites you mention above?
Some of the Internet stuff will not be available to young teenagewrs in the UK. Useful hub though with lots of good advice.
