Looking for PayPal Alternatives

A couple of months ago South Africa didn’t have PayPal and this was an inconvenience because of the fact that PayPal is just so big everywhere else and it is such an easy way receiving and paying money. Because of this there were certain things that I was not able to do.

If I wanted to open an account which I would be paid for that was not possible because PayPal was the only way forward. South Africa has since adopted the method of PayPal, but there are many other counties without these facilities. Fortunately you can opt for PayPal alternatives.

Some people prefer to go with a PayPal alternative simply because they have had a bad experience. Their PayPal account may have been hacked or frozen. Sometimes they are put off because the support is not what they were expecting.

Many people will need an account like this to operate their business so it is vital that they get the best possible. There are many different alternatives, depending on what you are looking for. For example it could be PayPal alternatives for ebay, which would be different to raffle tickets.

Best PayPal alternatives

Money bookers

Money bookers is a company based in the United Kingdom, which has a total of 1.6 million customers. This is great for a small business because funds are sent and received via electronic mail. Bank accounts are allowed and it has been reported to be very secure. The fees will depend on the currency exchange rate. Each user will be validated and this is done to reduce any type of security risk, such as scams or money laundering.

Paymate

Paymate has taken off very well, used predominantely in Australia, America and New Zealand, but is actually available in 57 countries. This is an ebay PayPal alternative that you can use in Australia and works just as well.

OboPay

OboPay is a mobile payment system, which is very useful. This allows you to transfer money on your mobile phone. You will be able to use SMS, WAP as well as other mobile and iPhone applications. There seems to be a greater demand for mobile applications so this is a good way to go and is really convenient.

Amazon Payments

Sending and receiving money in the U.S is easy with Amazon. The HTML code you can use on your website to sell products is simple enough to configure. There will be a small fee for transactions under $3000.

AlertPay is a Canadian Payment Processor that is another good PayPal alternative. However not all websites offer it as an option which is a bit of an inconvenience.
